MHO Wilderness First Aid Training

SOLO Wilderness First Aid Course  

This is a basic 16-hour wilderness oriented first-aid course that puts an emphasis on, long-term care, evacuation complications, and decision making with the unique ability to tailor to the specific needs of the students. Classroom lectures are supplemented by practical hands-on work and problem-solving scenarios in an outdoor setting.

The course is divided into two days with the majority of classroom and practice on the first day, while the second day will be held outside with scenario-based learning.

This course may be used to recertify Wilderness First Responder and Wilderness EMT (wilderness portion only) certifications from SOLO, or WMI, and most WMA courses with a current card or in a grace period.
